Why launch my new photography website on a wet (in Edinburgh at least) Monday I hear you ask.  Monday’s are the worst day of the week as it’s back to work for the majority of us.  Well there’s a couple of reasons..

I want my photos to be the reason for you to smile today.  I’ve taken so many photos over the years but the majority of them just get stored on my computer for no one in particular to see.  Thus the reason for me creating this website – to have a platform to showcase, what I feel, are some of my best photos that I am most pleased with.

Additionally, today’s date is 5/6/17, now I can’t do anything about the lost decade (17 rather than 7) but if you gloss over that small point, those who know me will realise I delight in number flows like this.

Subsequently, now is the time for me to press the launch button and finally let you in to see what I see.  Welcome to Cate Blyth Photography, It’s all about the photo.  Please take your time, scroll and click around the site.  There are three portfolios for your review – Crafted by Humans, Natural Beauty and Fortuitous Timing.  If you have the time and the inclination I would love to hear which is your favourite portfolio.

Thank you for your interest.  I’ll be back again with more blogs featuring exciting and thought provoking ideas along with updating my site with new photos.  Perhaps you can make me smile too with any reviews you may wish to leave.

Cheers

Cate

  1. Hello Cate,

Your website is looking fab! I really like your style and I think my favourite portfolio is the contemplation. Such inspiring shots.
I also really like your writing. I look forward to reading more and seeing where you go!

    1. Hi Jenny
Thank you for your kind review of my website, it’s great to hear your opinion and views.
Looking at your website shows me your talent in staging – you really know how to set the stage perfectly and the photos produced are stunning. Would be great to keep in touch as we may be able to work together in the future. Good luck with everything.
      Cheers
      Cate
